New Directions Education are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Crewe and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs and enabling them to achieve their full potential.

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting pupils to access learning within the classroom
- Assisting with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
- Supporting individual learning and behaviour plans
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement
- Working closely with teaching staff and SENCOs
- Monitoring pupil progress where required
- Helping to create a safe and supportive learning environment
- Experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEND setting
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A good understanding of safeguarding procedures
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)
All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references.
