Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a reputable nursing home. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs, including assistance with daily activities and health monitoring
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to all relevant protocols and regulations
- Monitor residents’ health status, recognising changes in condition and reporting findings promptly to the healthcare team
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents and their families, fostering a caring environment
- Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe living environment for all residents
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and other essential aspects of resident care as required
Skills
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or nursing home setting
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to elderly care
- Proficiency in medication administration, including understanding dosages, side effects, and contraindications
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Compassionate nature with outstanding communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards of practice

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
