Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Self-employed Car/motorbike Valeter/Detailer to join our team. This role involves ensuring vehicles are cleaned, polished, and presented to the highest standard, providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, good customer service skills, and experience in janitorial work or vehicle detailing. Suitable for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and valet vehicles both inside and out, ensuring a high standard of presentation
- Use specialised cleaning products and equipment to polish, wax, and detail vehicles
- Assist with minor repairs or touch-ups as required
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including cleaning tools and equipment after use
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and answering questions about vehicle care
- Drive vehicles as needed within the premises or for test drives when authorised
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with clean driving record
- Previous experience in janitorial work or vehicle detailing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and manoeuvring equipment or vehicles/motorbikes.
