Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid and offer opportunities for professional growth within our organisation.
Duties
- Serve a variety of beverages efficiently and responsibly to customers in accordance with licensing laws and company policies
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or electronic payments with basic maths skills
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Personable with excellent communication skills and a positive demeanour
