We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to ensure all activity of InBond movements are delivered to Service Level Agreement standards and agreed procedures. Provide effective support and reports to the Managers/Directors as requested and oversee the management of the operational staff.
Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 6am - 10pm.
- Setting goals, objectives and allocating tasks to the staff on a daily basis
- Take a hands-on approach to general warehouse duties and provide assistance and support to colleagues.
- Ensure clients’ expectations are met or exceeded by service levels provided
- To lead the Warehouse Team Members and ensure they are working effectively
- Provided documented training to the team, inline with the companies standards
- Performance Management of the team, providing regular updates to the Warehouse Assistant Manager
- To be involved in any staffing issues or disciplinary procedures.
- Promote positive and effective staff input
- To be proactive in problem solving and providing initiatives to the operation.
- Maintain accuracy and quality
- Good Housekeeping and Working Practices
- Responsible for H&S activities within the operation on a daily basis.
- Responsible for maintenance and regulatory testing of MHE equipment.
- Ensure the shelving and racking is fit for purpose and conduct regular inspections.
- Creation / Issuing of Staff Rota’s
- Identify and report to the relevant Manager any issues that may adversely affect the smooth running of the operation
- To carry out tasks reasonably requested by the Management team
