We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Taking orders from guests accurately and efficiently
- Serving food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of service areas
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
- Providing excellent customer service by attending to guest needs promptly
- Supporting barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages
- Assisting with setting up event spaces or catering functions when needed
- Handling payments accurately using the POS system
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience working in a restaurant environment or similar setting is advantageous
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- Familiarity with food preparation and presentation techniques is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional attitude
