Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Home Help Assistant to support individuals in their daily routines. This role involves providing assistance with household tasks, p and organisational activities to promote independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a caring attitude to deliver high-quality support tailored to each client's needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and organising personal spaces
- Support activities including dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Manage appointments
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and any changes in client needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during assistance activities
Experience
- Previous experience in care of rhe elderly and dementia
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support in a professional manner
- Leadership qualities are beneficial for coordinating activities and guiding clients through daily routines
