Wildmill Accident Repair Centre Ltd is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Body Shop Manager to join our growing team in Bridgend.
This is a key role within the business. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy accident repair centre, manage workflow effectively and lead the team while maintaining high standards of repair quality and customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the body shop
- Manage workshop workflow and repair schedules
- Coordinate MET, panel, paint, valeting and front-of-house teams
- Monitor productivity and ensure repairs progress efficiently
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Liaise with customers, insurers, suppliers and work providers
- Help resolve issues and prevent delays throughout the repair process
- Ensure health & safety and company procedures are followed
- Support and develop the team as the business continues to expand
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous accident repair/body shop management experience
- Strong understanding of the complete accident repair process
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- The ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A focus on efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction
