Purpose of Position
The main purpose of the Apprentice Plant Maintenance Engineer is to assist the Engineering Team with their duties and attend Further Education to follow a recognised course of study leading to the HNC in Engineering.

This position reports to the Engineering Supervisor in the Engineering Team
Duties and Responsibilities (Accountabilities)
The following specific job responsibilities relate to this position:
· Under supervision, assist the Engineering Team in their duties as detailed on the relevant Work Order or Work Instructions.
· Under supervision, assist the Engineering Team in the checking of plant/equipment prior to use highlighting any faults or defects to Supervisors
· Responsible for ensuring work area and equipment are kept clean and tidy
· Provide information, both written and verbal, of work done for accounting and recording
· The incumbent will be assigned additional tasks appropriate to his skill level and general labouring duties as necessary
· The incumbent must attend Further Education to follow a recognised course of study leading to the HNC in Engineering.

Qualifications
- National 4 or 5 in Maths and English
- Clean & full UK driving licence
Working Conditions
- This role mainly supports the Mintlaw site; however, travel to other Seafood Ecosse Group sites may be required.
Pay: Up to £123,456.00 per year
