Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
- Lead and supervise front-of-house team members, including servers and hosts, to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Coordinate daily service operations, ensuring timely food and beverage service while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Oversee the organisation of reservations, seating arrangements, and table allocations to optimise efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across all front-of-house areas.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and provide training to new team members.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Promote a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and recognising staff achievements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, ideally with supervisory or team management responsibilities.
- Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles such as hotel or barista work is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- A recognised qualification in hospitality management or culinary arts would be beneficial but is not essential.
