Homes Residential Care is looking for a passionate and experienced Residential Team Leader to join our children’s home in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead, motivate and support the staff team to deliver high-quality care.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
- Provide direct care, key working and emotional support.
- Maintain and review care plans and accurate records.
- Work in partnership with social workers, carers and other professionals.
- Promote independence and positive outcomes for young people.
- Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
- Support health and safety and the effective running of the home.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children and/or young people.
- Level 3 CYPW or Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to complete one.
- Strong communication, leadership and safeguarding skills.
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).

Please note: This is a full-time role within a 24-hour service operating 365 days a year. Shifts include days, nights, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility to work at other Homes Residential Care properties may be required.
