Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver and Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our Mobility Scooters in our managed fleet vehicles (Luton Tail Lift van) to our valued customers, and carrying out services and repairs at our customers homes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and basic degree of mechanical knowledge. If you have experience as a delivery driver, a clean driving licence, and have basic mechanical skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations all over the UK.
- Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
- Carry out on-site maintenance, services and repairs to our products (training will be provided).
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with navigation tools and local routes is beneficial.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery schedules.

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
