Harrogate Day Services provides care and activities for adults with high or complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.
At Harrogate Day Services we are currently looking for learning disability support workers to join us. We are looking to recruit a full time Learning Disability Support Worker for this service which opens Monday to Friday.

We support people with a wide range of needs including neurodiversity, autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex needs.
Supporting people with personal care is an integral part of the role, including use of equipment in a person-centred approach, for which training will be provided.
You will be part of a time but should be confident to work independently with a requirement for lone working.
As a support worker you would be providing support to individuals, helping them to access and engage in person centred activities, working with others as part of a multi-disciplinary team which will include health and social care professionals. You will work in ways which are consistent with the key aims of maintaining dignity, respect, and taking into consideration human rights and confidentiality, enabling people to gain and maximize their independence in response to an assessment of their needs.
If you’ve got experience, that’s great, we’d love to hear from you. If not, don’t worry, we’ll give you all the help and support you need to settle in quickly. If you do not already hold the Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care that isn’t a problem we will support you to achieve this through our apprenticeship training route.
