We’re looking for a skilled CHP / Generator Engineer to join a leading field-based engineering team, working across a range of power generation sites throughout the UK. This is a great opportunity to work within a growing and essential sector, supporting energy solutions across multiple industries.
The Role
As a CHP Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of Combined Heat & Power systems and associated power generation equipment. This is a field-based role, offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to work on critical energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support on CHP units and power generation equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Work on equipment such as gas engines, generators, pumps, cooling systems, and control panels
- Support installation, commissioning, and optimisation of CHP and energy systems
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards
- Deliver a high level of customer service while working on client sites
- Work both independently and as part of a wider technical support team
