Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties
- Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Providing support to patients, including explaining procedures and offering reassurance
- Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organisational standards
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment
- Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence
- Learning and adhering to infection control protocols and health regulations
- Developing skills in patient care, communication, and basic dental procedures under supervision
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of patient care principles and a genuine interest in healthcare nursing
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills
- Organised with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- IT literacy, including familiarity with computer systems for record keeping and communication
- Previous experience in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a busy clinical environment
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to professional development
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
