Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role with a variety of responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in keeping a workplace clean, organised, and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Steam cleaning plant machinery, equipment, and lorries.
- Keeping the yard, buildings, and work areas clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Cleaning, sorting, and palletising non-ferrous metals.
- Carrying out general yard duties as required.
- Reporting directly to the Yard Manager and assisting with daily operations.
What We're Looking For
- Self-employed status is essential.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Previous yard or industrial experience is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided.
