Summary
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role working at a busy recycling and waste facility. You'll play a key role in sorting recyclable materials, maintaining a clean and safe site, and supporting environmentally responsible waste management. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in a busy environment, and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
You will be working in an active industrial environment, so you'll need to be comfortable carrying out manual tasks and working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions. Full training and appropriate PPE will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly and promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with clients.
- Manage supplies and inventory to ensure availability of cleaning materials.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily cleaning goals.
