Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Provide customised hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client preferences.
- Perform specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application.
- Offer expert advice on hair care products and styling techniques to optimise client satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and maintaining client records.
- Upsell products and additional services to enhance the client experience and maximise revenue.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Assist with store management duties as required, ensuring the salon operates smoothly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Knowledge of store management practices is advantageous.
- Skilled in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and colour techniques.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Experience in front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and client management.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a positive working environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery.
