Part-Time or Full-Time Swimming Teacher Qualified to ASA/STA Level 2

Pay Rate: £26.52 per hour.
Hours Available:
- Tuesday 5.45pm - 9.15pm (3.5 hours) - Swim School Lessons
- Wednesday 5.45pm - 8.30pm (2.75 hours) - Swim School Lessons
- Thursday 5.45pm - 10pm (4.25 hours) - Swim School Lessons
- Friday 5.45pm - 8.30pm (2.75 hours) - Swim School Lessons
- Sunday 8.45am – 4pm (7.25 hours) - Swim School Lessons
Up to 20.5 hours, £543.66 per week (Either 1 teacher could teach all, or 2 teachers could share these hours).
Location: The Swim School at The King's School, Wrexham Road, Chester, CH4 7QL
Requirements:
ASA/UKCC Level 2 or STA equivalent
Current Swim teachers’ lifesaving qualification (or equivalent)
Start Date: ASAP
The successful applicant will report to and be responsible to the Swimming Manager, and at each session they teach there will be a Session Team Leader, who is responsible for on-site operational management decisions during that session. There will be on- and off-job personal performance enhancement training (to continually develop teaching skills and core knowledge of teaching and swimming) offered on an on-going basis, plus training for lifesaving, first aid and plant maintenance.

Age:
Is no obstacle – the successful applicant could be new or a recently-qualified teacher, just embarking on their career, or an older teacher with years of experience. Please, though, DO NOT be deterred by lack of experience if you are sure that you are a great teacher – we are looking for a GREAT TEACHER! (But rest assured that if you are a less-experienced individual possessing the potential for GREATNESS , then we have the tools, expertise and wonderful teaching environment to help you to bring this potentiality to fruition!
Training:
Full training, support and mentoring will be provided, both off- and on-job – though the successful applicants will definitely already be high-performing teachers. First Aid and lifesaving training and qualification courses will be provided as appropriate. The successful applicant will also receive external accredited basic plant maintenance and water testing training, if appropriate.
