We’re looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to The Bull Pen Gallery at [Cotehele], to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Contract/duration: Permanent
Hours/working pattern: 250 hour per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. This role will include some weekend working.
Interview dates: 3rd & 4th August 2026

The property is brimming with character, and is home to many colourful tapestries, armours and artefacts. What you'll be doing:As a member of the Gallery team, you’ll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You’ll have high standards of presentation in the Bull Pen Gallery while providing excellent service to all customers.
You’ll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
