As our Data Manager, you will take ownership of the school's Management Information System (MIS), leading on data accuracy, reporting, assessment processes, statutory returns, timetabling support and data analysis. Your expertise will help ensure that the school operates efficiently and that leaders have the information they need to make informed decisions.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and developing the school's MIS (Bromcom).
- Producing accurate reports and analysis to support school improvement.
- Leading on student data, assessment, attendance and progress information.
- Preparing statutory returns, including the School Census and other external submissions.
- Supporting timetabling and daily cover arrangements.
- Advising and training colleagues on the effective use of data systems.
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Supporting communication systems for students, parents and staff.

- Has excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Enjoys working with data and can communicate information clearly.
- Has strong ICT skills and experience with MIS platforms such as Bromcom.
- Can manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Is proactive, solution-focused and committed to continuous improvement.

Role details:
- Hours: 37 per week (Mon–Thurs 8:00am–4:00pm and Fri 8:00am-3:30pm)
- Weeks: 41 weeks + 5.7 weeks paid holiday
- Salary: point 15 - £27,807 (£31,015)
