Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues within plumbing systems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems.
- Measure and calculate materials needed using basic maths skills for accurate fitting and installation.
- Assist with assembly of plumbing components and related fixtures as required.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain a clean work environment and organise tools and materials effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing, use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing systems, carpentry skills, and basic maths proficiency.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Must hold a valid drivers licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or related trades are preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
