Crystal Hall Care Home is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Community Support Worker to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.
This rewarding role focuses on supporting our residents to maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle by accompanying them into the community and assisting them with a range of activities and appointments.
Main Responsibilities
- Supporting residents with community access and social inclusion.
- Accompanying residents on walks and outings.
- Taking residents shopping and assisting with purchases.
- Supporting residents to attend hospital, GP, dental, and other healthcare appointments.
- Accompanying residents for meals out and recreational activities.
- Encouraging independence, choice, and participation in community life.
- Ensuring residents' safety, wellbeing, and comfort at all times.
When community support duties are not required, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake the duties of a Healthcare Assistant, including:
- Providing personal care and support.
- Assisting with daily living activities.
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
- Promoting dignity, privacy, and respect for all residents.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Caring and compassionate nature.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work.
