Based in Market Harborough
Full time, Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm, with alternate Saturdays, 9am – 1pm, with time back in lieu.
Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 per annum DOE
Overview
We are looking for a confident and knowledgeable Lettings Valuer who is looking to progress their career in Residential Lettings, to join our superb team of 5 in Market Harborough with circa 846 fully managed properties and move in average 20 per month. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the lettings industry, with a strong ability to negotiate, upsell services, and deliver accurate market valuations and play a key role in growing our lettings portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct property valuations for potential landlords, providing expert advice on rental values and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords to secure new instructions.
- Generate new business through prospecting, referrals and local networking.
- Promote additional services and packages to landlords, effectively upselling to maximise revenue.
- Prepare and present valuation reports and marketing strategies.
- Ensure all properties are compliant with current lettings legislation and company standards.
- Work closely with the lettings team to ensure smooth onboarding of new properties.
- Keep up to date with local market conditions and competitor activity.
- Represent the company professionally at appointments and networking events.
- Dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries and providing high levels of customer service at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the lettings industry.
- Proven experience as a Lettings Valuer is essential.
- Strong negotiation and upselling skills.
- Excellent knowledge of lettings legislation, market trends and property compliance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
· Experience of working in a fast paced, busy environment.
- Full UK driving licence (if applicable).
