Purpose of Post:

- To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children attending the setting.
- To give support to the staff within the setting.
- To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
- To build and maintain strong partnerships with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.

Nursery Manager/Deputy/Room Leader
Main Duties:
You will be required to support your room leader and other practitioners and make sure you are following instructions for the day to day running of the room. You will need to work closely with all the members of staff in your room to make sure the children are happy and cared for. It is expected that you work with your colleagues throughout the Nursery as a team; communicating effectively with all staff, children and parents.
We would like you to assist with the daily routine of the nursery following all policies and procedures. All staff members are expected to ensure that work with colleagues is supportive and professional and ideas and tasks are shared effectively. Staff should ask for help from their room leader and colleagues if needed and take responsibility for their work.
You will be required to maintain a high quality programme for children that is stimulating and secure and in which children from a range of social, economic and cultural backgrounds are able to develop and grow. To encourage open shared learning for children and help them to form secure attachments that enable children to learn confidently and build excellent relationships with others.
We will provide full training to enable you to achieve a recognised childcare qualification and all positions are subject to good references and safeguarding checks.
Pay: £8.00 per hour
