St Edward’s Oxford is looking for a proactive and approachable has an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join its busy, supportive HR team and play a key role delivering a responsive, high-quality HR service across the School.
As HR Advisor, you’ll provide day-to-day HR support, acting as you will be a trusted first point of contact for managers and staff, providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance. You will support a range of You’ll advise on routine people matters, support employee relations casework matters, including absences management, probation reviews, disciplinary and grievance processes, and whilst helping to ensure HR policies and procedures are applied fairly, consistently and in line with best practice. consistently and fairly.
You’ll also play an key important role in the smooth running delivery of HR operations., Responsibilities will include preparing contracts and letters correspondence, maintaining accurate HR employee records, supporting payroll changes, producing basic HR reports and assisting supporting with recruitment activities during busy periods. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to HR projects, process improvements and staff engagement initiatives.
You’ll bring previous HR experience, of supporting providing advice to managers with HR advice, maintaining accurate HR records and helping supporting with employee relations matters. You should have, or be working towards, a CIPD Level 3 qualification, with a good understanding of employment law, ACAS guidance and HR best practice.
Experience in a school or similar environment would be helpful, but what matters most is that you are organised, professional, committed to safeguarding and keen to develop your HR career in a supportive, values-led setting.
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
