The RTR Group is a long-established Building & Property Services company delivering high-quality maintenance and construction services across London, Essex and Kent and surrounding areas. Due to continued growth within our Maintenance Division, we are looking to recruit an experienced Plasterer/Multi Trade to join our expanding team.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Plasterer / Multi Trade candidate with a positive attitude, strong technical ability, and pride in delivering high quality workmanship. The role will involve carrying out responsive repairs, planned maintenance works, and void property refurbishments across our social housing, residential, and commercial property portfolio.
The successful candidate will have strong plastering skills and be capable of undertaking a range of multi-trade maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with excellent customer service.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Full room and wall plastering works.
- Patch plastering and making good following repairs.
- Skimming and float and set plastering.
- Wall and floor tiling repairs and installations.
- Painting and decorating works.
- Carrying out a variety of multi-trade repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Responsive maintenance and day-to-day repairs.
- Planned maintenance and refurbishment works.
- Void property reinstatement and refurbishment.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintaining excellent customer relationships whilst working in occupied properties.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Plasterer.
- Strong experience in full plastering, patch plastering, skimming, and making good.
- Experience in tiling, decorating, and general multi-trade maintenance.
- Previous experience working within social housing maintenance contracts is highly desirable.
- Experience undertaking responsive repairs, planned works, and void property refurbishments.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence required (maximum 6 penalty points).
