Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Granite & Quartz Worktop Fitter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, installation, and finishing of granite, quartz, marble, porcelain, and other stone worktops to the highest standard in residential and commercial properties.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling natural and engineered stone, excellent attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install granite, quartz, marble, porcelain, and engineered stone worktops.
- Safely load, transport, and unload stone products.
- Carry out on-site seam joining, polishing, and finishing work.
- Install undermount sinks, hobs, splashbacks, upstands, and stone cladding.
- Ensure all installations are completed accurately and to company quality standards.
- Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Complete remedial works and repairs when required.
- Liaise professionally with customers, builders, kitchen companies, and site managers.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with templating when required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience fitting granite, quartz, marble, or porcelain worktops.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good understanding of installation techniques and stone handling.
- Ability to read technical drawings and kitchen plans.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with laser templating systems.
- CSCS card.
- Forklift licence.
- Experience with colour-matched resin repairs and polishing.
- Experience fitting large-format porcelain and book-matched materials.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
7:00am – 4:00pm (plus overtime as required)
Location
Based from SharpStone Granite Ltd, with installations carried out throughout London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, and surrounding areas.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £38,486.66-£48,845.09 per year
