Gas Safe Registered Heating & Plumbing Engineer
Location: ME / TN /CT postcodes Contract: Full time, permanent Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 OTE depending on experience and tickets held, plus overtime
About us
We are a Gas Safe registered heating and plumbing company working across Kent. We install, service and repair domestic heating systems for homeowners and landlords, and we hold manufacturer accreditation with Worcester Bosch, Vaillant and Glow-worm.
We are a family-run business, not a call centre with vans attached. Our engineers work on named jobs for named customers, most of whom come back to us year after year. We are growing steadily and we are looking for someone who wants a settled, long-term seat rather than the next contract.
The role
- Boiler installations and full system replacements
- Annual boiler servicing and manufacturer commissioning
- Fault finding and breakdown repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems
- Landlord gas safety inspections (CP12)
- General domestic plumbing — cylinders, unvented systems, radiators, valves, pipework, leaks, bathroom and kitchen connections
- Emergency callouts on a rota basis
- Homecare plan inspections and follow-up work for our maintenance customers
You will be issued with a company van, fuel card and a tablet. Jobs, certificates, photographs and notes are all handled through our job management system on the tablet, so a reasonable level of comfort with technology is needed.
Most days you will be working on your own, planning your route and dealing directly with the customer at the door. How you conduct yourself in someone's home matters to us as much as the quality of the work itself.

- Gas Safe registration, currently valid
- ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 and MET1 (or MET4)

- A clean, tidy and methodical approach on site
