As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:
We are looking to recruit a senior care assistant working DAY & WAKING NIGHT SHIFTS - 30 - 35 HOURS PER WEEK. As a Senior Care Assistant in our Greensleeves Care Home, you will be working alongside a team of dedicated Care Assistants who support residents with their daily needs.
- Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by medication administration, liaising with medical professionals.
- Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their abilities to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
- Assist residents with their personal care needs.
- Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
- Following resident care plans ensuring each resident receives the correct person-centred care, support, and daily interaction.
- Like everyone at Greensleeves, Senior Care Assistants will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing your own part in creating an environment that’s warm, welcoming, and comfortable.

- Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 3 or other relevant qualification.
- Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Experience of providing care
