Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Scaffolding, Insulation and Painting Project Manager to oversee complex new build from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of scaffolding, insulation, and painting operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management software to optimise workflow and resource allocation. The ideal applicant will possess a solid understanding of civil engineering principles and demonstrate exceptional time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and supervise scaffolding, insulation, and painting activities across multiple sites.
- Develop detailed project schedules via planner using Primavera P6 to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available as needed.
- Oversee site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Monitor project progress regularly, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Utilise Civil 3D for site layout planning and technical drawings to facilitate accurate execution of projects.
- Manage budgets, procurement processes, and resource allocation efficiently.
- Lead a team of site manager, site supervisors and workers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality aligns with specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status for senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing scaffolding, insulation, or painting projects within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of viewing Primavera P6 project management software is essential.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D for civil design and site planning is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management capabilities to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are preferred.
- Valid health & safety certifications relevant to construction sites are advantageous.
