Change Manager Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C
As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Enabling and Earthwork Section.
What will you do?
- Lead the delivery and governance of the Change Management process across the CWA, ensuring compliance and consistency in approach.
- Manage internal change activities and coordinate with technical, commercial, and delivery stakeholders to assess and implement change.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of change types
- Ensure all relevant due diligence is completed prior to change approval.
- Coordinate interrelated changes across Sections to maintain programme and cost integrity.
- Support strategic decision-making by integrating cost, time, risk, and contract constraints.
- Maintain accurate records and justifications for audit and reporting purposes.
- Promote transparency and trust with the Client through clear communication and documentation.
- Protect the integrity of the CWA PAA Cost and Programme Envelopes.
- Retain and leverage change knowledge to inform future planning and decision-making.
- Actively participate in the CWA’s PMO Leadership Team
- Implement and maintain the Baseline and Change Management Plan aligned in accordance with the PAA.
- Lead the configuration and use of Oracle Primavera Unifier for initiating, tracking, and reporting change.
- Ensure integration of change data with project controls, cost management, and risk frameworks.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to monitor change performance and trends.
- Provide constructive recommendations to mitigate deficiencies and influence positive outcomes.
- Champion the use of Unifier and other integrated project controls systems to support change management.
- Promotion of digital tools and implementation of automation through digital business systems.
- Liaise with the IT & Digital and IM functions for alignment and integration with other project management systems in the CWA project.
- Recognised as a champion for HSE through their commitment and passion to lead the Project HSE agenda, not only within their teams but across the project.
- Empowers and influences teams, enrolling all stakeholders to own the HSE agenda and to challenge and change working practices to improve safety performance across the project.
- Engages effective communication and feedback to ensure a consistent approach across all stakeholders consistent with SZC CWA policies.
- Recognised as a champion for Nuclear Safety in both decisions and behaviours.
- Ensures that scope activities and associated priorities are aligned to reflect the SZC CWA Nuclear Safety culture as a prerequisite.
- Ensures that the Nuclear Safety message is communicated to all levels of the SZC CWA Team
- Leads promotion of Digital Engineering tools and processes across the project and understands how their functions support Digital Engineering.
- Establishes and implements an integrated digital business system, linking BIM data with schedule, budget and cost data to support business reporting and performance measurement.
- Able to articulate the benefits of Digital Engineering application to external contacts and all function members.
- Anticipates and implements initiatives to meet changes in NNB and stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Creates and maintains a diverse network of contacts inside and outside the project; uses these proactively to expand their thinking within their role, encouraging others to do the same.
- Recognised as a trusted advisor to SZC and EDF by knowing their business and strategic drivers.
- Identifies critical relationships and strategically anticipates and manages potential conflict and disagreement, creating understanding and resolutions from difficult or complex interpersonal situations.

Qualifications & Experience
- At least 12-15 years leading project controls on complex and mega infrastructure projects and programmes of works working for leading international tier 1 contractors
- APM PMQ, APMG Project Planning and Control Practitioner or equivalent
- MRISC preferred.
- Experience running contract, cost and EVM systems e.g., PRISM, Unifier and InEig
