As a Housekeeper, you will:

Clean and maintain all areas of the care home, including residents’ rooms, communal spaces, bathrooms, and offices, in line with company policies and infection control procedures.

Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored appropriately.

Work closely with colleagues to support the smooth running of the home, responding to cleaning requests and maintaining high standards at all times.

Assist with laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and distributing linen and residents’ clothing.

Report any maintenance or health and safety issues promptly.

Help create a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and visitors.

Demonstrate respect and sensitivity towards residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal space.

Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is beneficial but not essential.

Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Ability to follow instructions and work to set cleaning schedules.

Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.

Friendly, approachable, and able to work well as part of a team.
