JDR are working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Process Operator to join their growing production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a successful manufacturing environment. The Role:
As a Blending Operator / Process Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Working closely with Production, Warehouse, Engineering and Quality teams, you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with machine set-up, start-up and shutdown procedures
- Supply materials to production lines as required
- Monitor machinery to ensure products are processed correctly
- Carry out routine quality checks and accurately complete production documentation
- Identify and isolate non-conforming products
- Assist with routine stock counts and material movements
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and help minimise downtime
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Warehouse and Quality teams to resolve operational issues
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality and health & safety
Requirements:
Essential
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive, reliable approach to work
- Physically capable of working within a production environment
Desirable
- Experience operating machinery or process equipment
- Reach or Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced production environment
