The Role
We are looking for a confident and organised B2B Sales & Stockist Account Executive to help grow our UK independent pet retail network.
This role is mainly focused on new business development, including cold calling, email outreach and onboarding new stockists. You will also support and manage our existing retail partners, acting as their main point of contact for product information, orders and account support.

Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development
- Identify and contact new independent pet retailers across the UK.
- Cold call, email and use social media to generate new leads.
- Explain our brand story, product benefits and wholesale opportunities.
- Manage prospects from first contact through to onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new stockists.
Stockist Account Management
- Act as the main point of contact for our UK stockists.
- Support retailers with orders, product questions and general account queries.
- Check in with accounts to encourage re-orders and introduce new products.
- Help stockists understand the range and maximise sales.
- Share useful sales feedback with our internal team.
Reporting & Admin
- Keep accurate records of leads, calls, emails and account activity.
- Use CRM and internal systems to manage customer information.
- Create weekly lead and sales updates for management.
- Use Microsoft Excel for simple reporting, sales tracking and forecasting.
- Attend a weekly 1-hour Teams meeting with management.
Trade Events
- Attend and represent the brand at 2 UK trade events per year.
- Help generate leads, speak with retailers and support the stand.
- All trade event travel and expenses are paid.
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, proactive and comfortable speaking to new people.
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or account management.
- Confident making cold calls and sending professional sales emails.
- Strong communication skills by phone, email and in person.
- Self-motivated and able to work remotely.
- Organised and able to manage your own schedule.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and learning new systems.
- Good commercial understanding and confidence working with sales figures.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Based in the UK and legally eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience in the pet, retail or FMCG industry.
- Existing knowledge of independent pet retailers.
- Experience working remotely in a sales role.
- A genuine interest in dogs and natural pet nutrition.
What We Offer
- We are happy to accept applicants based on two position offerings:
- 20 hours per week at £17,000 per year (part time) or 35 hours per week at £30,000 per year (full time)
- Working Days Monday to Friday - 9am-til 5pm til Friday (full time) or Tuesday to Friday - 10am til 3pm (Part time)
- Remote working, with one day per month required at our Glasgow office for a team working day and meeting.
