Job Summary
Office administration/support for MD of engineering/manufacturing company for aviation refuelling vehicles and equipment whilst supporting other daily office needs
Ability to prepare proposals, quotes, tenders and attend client meetings.
Managing client accounts, record and respond to enquiries from sales enquiry through to the delivery of our finished products tracking costs and build data throughout.
The preparation and sending of invoices will form part of the role which will be fully supported initially to develop a strong understanding of the needs of the business going forward.
Days/hours of work by negotiation – (minimum 4 days) Salary from £27,500.00.pa. minimum increasing with knowledge, capability and experience.
We are a well established engineering and manufacturing company specialising in the design and production of aviation refuelling vehicles. seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator/Support to MD to assist in managing daily administrative operations. This role involves providing comprehensive support handling correspondence, data entry, and maintaining organisational systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, proficiency in relevant software, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining accurate records
- Performing data entry tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Organising schedules, appointments, and meetings efficiently
- Handling correspondence via email, phone calls, and written communication with professionalism and courtesy
- Assisting with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and document preparation
- Utilising Microsoft Office Suite
- Supporting MD with various clerical tasks to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintaining organised digital and physical filing systems
- Ensuring excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients or stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven administrative experience or office support background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in data entry and clerical duties with high accuracy levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in office support roles is advantageous
