Electrician, Heritage Conversion Project, Bath
Fixed term contract, 2 to 3 months. £200-£250 per day, negotiable with experience.
The client is converting a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse in central Bath into five one bedroom flats. We need a qualified electrician to install the electrical infrastructure from the basement meters up the communal riser to all five flats.
The work includes: new consumer units and full installations to each flat including fire detection, distribution rising through the communal service riser, and marking out all cable routes for our stonemasons, who will carry out any chasing into walls. This is a listed building, so no cutting into historic fabric yourself; routes are agreed and set out jointly on site. Experience with solar PV installations is a plus, as the scheme includes a roof array.
Requirements: qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition), NICEIC or NAPIT registered or able to certify work, experience in period or listed buildings preferred.
To apply, send a short summary of relevant experience and your qualifications.
