We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head Chef to join our team at the Adelphi Hotel. With 402 bedrooms and 14 conference suites accommodating up to 850 Guests this grand Edwardian-style building is Perfectly located in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Your duties will include:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent quality.
- Working with the kitchen team to prepare and present diverse dishes from A la carte menus to large-scale banquets and events.
- Ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently during peak times.
- Creating menus that incorporate fresh, seasonal produce, while reflecting current food trends and accommodating dietary requirements to ensure a diverse and appealing offering for all guests.
- Monitoring kitchen resources effectively to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
- Managing inventory, overseeing food deliveries, and maintaining effective stock control to support cost efficiency.
- Ensuring all kitchen staff adhere to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passionate and experienced chef with a proven track record in a culinary setting.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management and communication skills.
