Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coach to join our team, committed to inspiring and supporting individuals through engaging activities and effective information advice and guidance.
The ideal candidate will be required to:
- To offer specialist CEIAG services to those looking to gain employment, retrain or further their education to gain, maintain or progress within employment.
- To maximise retention, achievement and success of students.
- You will develop opportunities to deliver services and hit contract targets.
- To ensure that individual student needs are met in a responsive way, that allows them to complete all pre-enrolment paperwork and processes.
- Be the main link between Partners in Bristol and the it’s external stakeholders and their clients.
- To fully engage with Partners in Bristol’s Mission and Values, ensuring that these are at the heart working practices.
Responsibilities
1. Provide careers advice and general support to adults via a range of methods including face to face; telephone; email; group work and other digital means to help them to achieve work or learning goals.
2. Support clients to develop their own career management skills through a range of activities designed to improve confidence and resilience.
3. Work with clients to support their progression into learning, training or work or progression within work.
4. Track clients to capture outcomes and improve the effectiveness of our services.
5. Provide specialist support to the DWP and other external partners.
6. Design and deliver workshops / information sessions to meet local need. Research and study local labour market information (LMI) to ensure your advice is relevant.
7. Record all interactions and outcomes with clients in a timely manner to meet contract deadlines. You will be offered training and support on the systems required.
8. Work to develop a strong network of partner organisations who can provide complementary services and support for your clients.
9. Work with a variety of organisations to generate referrals to meet Partners in Bristol targets.
10. Operate from a variety of locations and take responsibility working safely as a lone worker by following Partners in Bristol Policy.
11. Undertake business development activities to meet monthly performance targets by generating new partners and customer pipelines.
12. Contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement by seeking to improve existing business models, looking for more effectiveness and efficiency. Suggest improvements at team meeting, supervision or in informal discussion.
13. Be outcome focussed in all business activity.
14. Meet all legal and service quality standards including health and safety safeguarding, equality an diversity, information and data security, and any other requirement commensurate with the role and Restore Policy
Qualifications and Skills
- Hold or be working towards a minimum Level 2 IAG qualification.
- Minimum of five GCSEs, including English and Mathematics at Grade C/Grade 5 or above (or equivalent qualifications)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Good planning and organisation skills
- Ability to use IT at a level commensurate with job role
- Knowledge and experience of strategies for engaging with prospective clients

Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
