Assistant General Manager | Floor
We are looking for an experienced, confident and highly organised Assistant General Manager to support the day to day running of Mala, with a strong focus on floor operations and customer experience.
You will work closely with the General Manager to lead the team, maintain high standards and ensure every service runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the floor team during service
- Supporting the General Manager with daily venue operations
- Ensuring excellent customer service and guest experience
- Supervising, motivating and supporting staff throughout shifts
- Managing opening and closing procedures
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
- Ensuring the venue is clean, organised and presented to a high standard
- Supporting staff training and maintaining service standards
- Coordinating with the bar and wider team during busy periods
- Ensuring health and safety and licensing procedures are followed
- Taking responsibility for the venue in the General Manager’s absence
What We Are Looking For
Previous management or supervisory experience within a busy hospitality venue is essential.
You must be confident leading a team, highly organised, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility during busy services.
