Overview
The Kilverstone Estate are looking for Estate worker to work alongside the current Manager assisting with the general day to day running and maintenance of the grounds and properties around Kilverstone Hall and the wider Estate. The Estate has a mix of residential and commercial properties and tenant farmers, and the position would suit someone who likes to work outside, and who can be flexible, as the work can be varied.
Key duties
Grass cutting, strimming, edging and lawn maintenance
Hedge trimming, pruning,
Weeding, planting, maintaining flowerbeds
Operating and maintaining garden equipment
Undertaking seasonal duties, leaf clearing etc
General estate duties, property maintenance, maintaining overall presentation and appearance of the estate, parkland grass cutting.
General Tree works, chainsaw – additional training can be provided
Driving Estate Vehicles, Tractor, loader - additional training can be provided
Requirements
Full driving licence
Practical hands on approach
Ability to work independently
Comfortable working outdoors
Reliable, punctual and flexible
Usual hours of work Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm
28 days annual leave including bank holidays
The role meets to national minimum wage but can be flexible for the right person
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
