The Eagles Head is a friendly and traditional country pub known for its warm atmosphere, excellent customer service, and quality homemade food. We’re looking for enthusiastic Front of House and Bar Staff to join our team and help create a welcoming experience for every guest.
Role Overview
As a member of our Front of House and Bar team, you’ll be the face of the pub—serving drinks, taking orders, and providing attentive service. The ideal candidate will be personable, reliable, and confident in delivering great customer service in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and serving customers with a warm, friendly attitude
- Preparing and serving drinks, including pints, wines, spirits, and coffees
- Taking food orders and serving dishes to tables
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented bar and front-of-house area
- Processing payments and handling the till accurately
- Ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset efficiently
- Communicating effectively with kitchen and waiting teams
- Supporting smooth service during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred but not essential
- A positive, approachable attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
- Confidence in serving drinks and interacting with customers
- Reliability and strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18+ if serving alcohol
