Qualified Nursery Practitioner
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children.
About the Role
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will work within the nursery, supporting children of different ages and stages of development. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can learn, develop, and thrive, between the hours of 8.00am-6.00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Work flexibly across all nursery rooms as required.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
- Ensure children's welfare is always safeguarded and promoted.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- A current Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, reliable, and positive approach to supporting young children.
- Full enhanced DBS certificate, registered on the update service.
