Cleaner Required – Leyton Area
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised cleaner to assist with all cleaning and general organisation of a family home, mainly bathrooms, living room, kitchens, hallway, stairs etc. Totally keeping the home organised and clean.
The position will initially be for 6 hours per week, spread across two days: Tuesdays and Fridays.
Duties will include:
* General household cleaning
* Keeping rooms clean and tidy
* Household organisation as required
Applicants should be physically fit, dependable, and able to work to a good standard with attention to detail.
Ideally, applicants should live in or close to the Leyton area.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of household areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings to uphold hygiene standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as paper toilet, soap, and cleaning products to ensure availability at all times
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe home environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks for prompt resolution
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all areas
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required; basic training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency
- Strong physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting throughout the working hours.
