Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bathroom Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fixtures and fittings in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems, along with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The ideal applicant will possess practical skills, attention to detail, and the physical stamina necessary for heavy lifting and manual tasks.
Duties
- Install new bathroom fixtures including baths, sinks, toilets, and showers according to specifications and safety standards
- Repair or replace existing bathroom fittings as required
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete installations
- Measure spaces accurately using basic maths skills to ensure proper fitting of fixtures
- Conduct plumbing work such as connecting water supply lines and drainage systems
- Perform carpentry tasks related to framing or modifying bathroom structures
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and safety regulations
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up after installation projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Basic tiling skills are required for this position
Skills
- Plumbing, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to bathroom fixture installation and repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting materials or equipment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations
- Ability to read technical drawings or schematics related to bathroom fittings
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks over extended periods
- Must be able to do basic tiling
£18-£22.50 per hour CIS, paid last working day of each month.
Individual must be able to showcase previous installations. Images and in person if required.
