Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our sites. In this role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, coordinate staff schedules, and maintain communication with clients to deliver exceptional service. Because you will be travelling between multiple local sites, a valid driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operations & Cover: Coordinate staff schedules, arrange sickness/holiday cover, and roll up your sleeves to handle emergency cleans when needed.
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities to ensure all areas meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Lead, motivate, and train cleaning staff to improve efficiency and service quality
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and incident reports
- Ensure all team members adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within the cleaning or facilities maintenance industry
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback
- Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering positive client interactions
- Valid driving license preferred for overseeing multiple locations or transporting supplies when necessary
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation
