Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and customising garments with precision and care. Responsibilities
- Cut, sew, and assemble fabric pieces according to detailed patterns and specifications
- Repair and alter garments to ensure proper fit and finish
- Operate sewing machines and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to support efficient workflow
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
- Manage inventory of fabrics, threads, and sewing supplies to prevent shortages
- Pattern making and grading
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sewing or tailoring, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Warehouse experience is preferred to understand inventory management and workflow processes
- Proficiency in operating various sewing machines and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
Pay: £14.80-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
