To be able to work alongside coaches at our breakfast / after school clubs offering food and sport during these sessions.
To be able to provide excellent childcare within a school setting whilst introducing sport and healthy eating to children.
Hours of work can be discussed but looking for candidates who are willing to be flexible as well.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team, focusing on the development and growth of children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in early childhood education, enabling them to effectively manage and communicate with young learners. This role is essential in fostering a positive atmosphere where children can thrive and develop essential life skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging coaching programmes tailored to the needs of children.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to learning.
- Manage classroom dynamics, ensuring safety and promoting positive behaviour among children.
- Provide guidance and support in developing social, emotional, and physical skills through various activities.
- Monitor individual progress and adapt coaching strategies as necessary to meet diverse needs.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and communicate progress with parents.
- Provide a snack break for all kids involved.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Ability to drive initiatives that promote engagement and learning among children.
- Experience managing groups of children effectively while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Having a food hygiene and first aid certificate is a plus but not a must as we can put you through the training.
