Are you a friendly and reliable dental nurse looking for regular work with the flexibility and support of a local agency?
Filling In is looking for a qualified dental nurse who can work full-time or a minimum of three weekdays per week. We offer guaranteed regular shifts across dental practices in Portsmouth, Southampton and the surrounding areas.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in different practices, meeting new teams and having variety in their working week, while still benefiting from consistent shifts and weekly payments.
About the Role
You will provide dental nursing cover across a range of NHS and private dental practices.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is available full-time or for at least three weekdays each week
- Can commit to regular, ongoing agency work
- Is willing and able to travel across Portsmouth, Southampton and surrounding areas
- Is comfortable travelling for up to 45 minutes by car or public transport
- Is reliable, flexible and confident working with different dental teams

Your Main Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilising instruments and materials
- Helping with or developing dental x-rays
- Supporting infection control and decontamination procedures
- Accurate record-keeping and patient communication
- Working collaboratively with practice teams
- Manage your diary efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified dental nurse with current GDC registration
- Right to work in the uk (essential)
- Good communication and patient-care skills
- A professional, positive and adaptable approach
- Excellent punctuality and reliability
- Confidence working in different dental practices
- Willingness and ability to travel for up to 45 minutes to shifts
