Weekday Breakfast Assistant – The Glen Nursing Home

The Glen Nursing Home is looking for a friendly, caring and reliable Breakfast Assistant to join our team, working weekday mornings from 7:00am until 11:30am.
We are a well-established, family-run nursing home in Baildon, providing nursing and residential care for older people, many of whom are living with dementia. We pride ourselves on our excellent reputation and on providing a warm, homely environment where residents are treated with dignity, kindness and respect.
About the role
As a Breakfast Assistant, you will help our residents start their day in a positive and relaxed way. Your duties will include:
- Organising and preparing residents for breakfast
- Serving breakfasts and refreshments
- Assisting residents who require support with eating and drinking
- Ensuring individual dietary requirements and preferences are followed
- Helping to create a pleasant and sociable breakfast environment
- Working alongside our care, nursing and kitchen teams
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, dignity and infection control
Who are we looking for?
No previous care experience is required. We provide a full induction and all the training you need.
This position could be ideal for someone looking to gain experience within health and social care, or someone who simply enjoys working with older people and wants a rewarding part-time role that leaves afternoons and weekends free.
